History
The Gandhi Foundation of USA was founded on October 26, 1997 in preparation of the installation and dedication (Jan 1998) of the Statue of the Mahatma Gandhi..
Our Purpose
The Gandhi Foundation of USA (GFUSA) Incorporated, a non-profit, tax-exempt foundation based in Atlanta, Georgia, under section 501C(3) was organized for the following purposes.

The Gandhi Foundation of USA is grateful for the inspiration, guidance and mentoring by Mrs. Coretta Scott King, Former Indian Ambassadors to USA, Late P.K. Kaul, Late S.S. Ray and Naresh Chandra and for the unflinching support from the officials of the Embassy of India, USA, former Superintendent Troy Lissimore of National Park Services, former Mayor of Atlanta, Late Maynard Jackson and the communities of Georgia.
